At LUCA School of Arts, ensemble and chamber music are essential and this already from the very beginning of the training. The “chamber music evenings” on the campus offer the students the opportunity to bring highlights from the chamber music repertoire for duo, trio, quartet or quintet on stage and as such prepare themselves for their future professional lives.
Throughout the year, the team of chamber music teachers compose a varied programme which consists of repertoire highly suited to the concert stage.
LUCA organizes about 25 concerts every year. Solo recitals, chamber music, choral and orchestral works as well as the large symphonic repertoire from a period spanning more than four centuries are alternately discussed.
In addition to these concerts, you can also regularly see students at work during bachelor's and master's theses and on concert theses. These are freely accessible to the public.
