LUCA in Space
Concert
Bang! The Big Bang City Festival of Leuven is expanding to the top of the Lemmensberg: the students of LUCA School of Arts take you on an interstellar journey from Star Wars to The Planets by Gustav Holst!
You will be immersed in an atmospheric setting with spectacular lighting to support the Belgian premiere of this unique version for smaller orchestra. In this monumental Planets-suite, each planet of our solar system is masterfully brought to life with its own character.
This unique concert experience kicks off the series “Students in Concert”, in which students invite audiences to their try-outs for exam programs and recitals.
Ranging from conductor Remi De Ceuster, musicians, technicians to organization: this whole project is being undertaken by students, on behalf of the student organization Cluster with the support of LOKO, Bamm! and LUCA Breakout.
