Scholarships and grants for degree-seeking students
LUCA School of Arts cannot offer any scholarships or grants for incoming bachelor's or master's students. Foreign students who only stay temporarily in Belgium for studying (=who do not comply with the nationality requirements to be eligible for a scholarship granted by the Flemish Community), are considered to have enough financial aid to study in Belgium. More information: http://www.studyinflanders.be/en/scholarship-programmes/other-funding-opportunities/ and http://centenvoorstudenten.be/english/scholarship-flemish-community/
Only in an emergency situation financial aid by Stuvo might be granted, and only after a thorough investigation.
The Flemish Government has concluded cultural agreements with a number of countries around the world. Some of these agreements also include scholarships for students and/or researchers. Please contact the relevant authority in your country of origin to find out more about the possibilities.
Erasmus+ scholarships and grants for incoming exchange students
If you come to LUCA as an Erasmus+ exchange student, you may be eligible for a mobility grant through the Erasmus+ programme. The international office of your home university will be able to tell you more about the application procedure for this grant.
Working and studying
Some students combine their studies at LUCA School of Arts with a part-time (student) job. LUCA School of Arts only has a limited number of job offers for students, but if you are looking for a job, our student services department can put you on the right track to find a job elsewhere.
Payment of the tuition fee in installments
Payment of the tuition fee in installments has to be requested through the social services department of LUCA School of Arts. There is no guarantee that your request will be approved since one has to comply with the same nationality requirements to be eligible for a scholarship granted by the Flemish Community.
