markize3000

markize3000 is an interdisciplinary art project that was born out of a collaboration between Zoélie Guckert - a student of physical theatre at the Folkwang Universität der Künste in Essen-Werden - and Iban Marjollet - a saxophonist studying at the Luca School of Arts in Leuven. The project currently consists of weekly videos on Instagram and Vimeo that combine movement, music and poetry. This creation will be filmed and broadcast live on Instagram on the markize3000 account (@markize3000). Luca will therefore have visibility on our Instagram account, followed by many artists.

markize3000 has been invited to perform at the festival 'Les Rendez-vous du Département' for which we are about to create our first piece. This will be a multidisciplinary creation, based on Karlheinz Stockhausen's Tierkreis and will explore the astrological impact on human behaviour. We will mix improvisation, choreography, traditional and contemporary music in a project for all audiences.

For this, we will join forces with Sandro Hännel, an opera singer and accordionist studying at the Wolkfang University of the Arts.
