Deep histories fragile memories is a fluid research constellation that centers around a core group: Wendy Morris, Laurens Dhaenens, Anja Veirman, Hannah Van Hove, Mariske Broeckmeyer, Alexandra Crouwers, Joeri Verbesselt, Renée Turner and Nele Möller,
The research of the members of dhfm engages with ecologies, landscapes and worldings, with fictioning and embodied experimental writing, with the recuperation of marginalised histories and the writing of new narratives.

Fieldguides for a Preternaturalist
The Fieldguides are an upcoming publication series of single-essay chapbooks that orbit the research project of Wendy Morris, Nothing of Importance Occurred: Recuperating a Herball for a 17th enslaved midwife at the Cape. They are a deep histories fragile memories collaboration with the Berlin publisher K Verlag, kunsthal Netwerk Aalst, and LUCA. The first three issues will appear in 2022.
