Fragments of Gabi
Fragments of Gabi portrays a Romanian mother, her constant oscillation and a silent revolution. The film vibrates with the physical presence of Bucharest, its streets, the subway station, the city bus. Those spaces are juxtaposed and the unfolding of time and duration get a tangible audiovisual form. The narrative short film consists of essay-like vignettes, of singular fragments that offer various elements in one scene, stimulating, on and off screen, the imagination and participation of the spectator.
