Disappearance indicates temporality, limited presence in time. The premise ‘everything cannot exist forever’ states irreversibility - inherent to any existing being, object and artefact. Disappearance is most beautiful, hard, and irreversible. It is a bliss happening to- and escaping our perception.
This research project aims to investigate disappearance in the arts and fields of study and creation, dealing with the matter.
Aim is to enter and explore the space of temporality, irreversible fragility, limited appearance, and vanishing in order to deal with the matter, find understanding and apply it in the process of creation.
