LUCA School of Arts & our campus C-mine have the honour to organize the third FilmEU Summit on and around our LUCA campus C-mine Genk and we would like to invite everyone interested in Film & Media Arts to the public days from Tuesday 3rd until Wednesday 4th of October 2023. This summit brings together the consortium and our partner European Higher Education Institutes during an international event.
The topic of this summit ‘Fakenews.Fakeworld.Fakeidentity.Trust yourself.’, will broaden our horizons during these two days of sharing expertise in the cultural and creative industries field.
On Tuesday, October 3rd we start at 15:00 with a welcome coffee/ tea and our Summit Kickoff at LUCA campus C-mine Genk, followed by the vernissage of the Artistic research expo: Peripheral Perspectives, part of the research leg FilmEU RIT, with an accompanying reception to quench your thirst at C-mine Cultural Center. The next day (4th) we are located at Thor Central Genk for a full day of inspiring talks and everyone is invited to immerse themselves in the world of fake news, fake world and fake identity which is highly relevant in this digitalized present-day world.
